Somayeh New Products

Whey is one of minor milk products which is prepared in traditional way by boiling, condensing or drying the churned sour milk remained after obtaining butter or from non fattish yogurt. It has been prepared and utilized since many years ago in most of Asian countries especially Iran and among tribes the most. Because of having protein and minerals, it is of high food value. Such a small volume of foodstuff is miraculous with its great food value which has all features of milk. It includes calcium, fat, salt, protein, niacin vitamin. The amount of energy produced by 100gr whey is about 105-120 KC which can be used as one of energy producing stuff during diet.

 

 

  • Medical features of whey
    Whey has been traditionally and experimentally consumed in food program of Iranian people since a long time ago. It is considered as a disinfecting item in digestion system (stomach, intestines) because of its organic acids. High calcium and phosphor in whey can prevent osteoarthropathy. 15gr protein, 105gr fat, and 106 mg calcium can be found per 100gr whey.
  • Where to use whey
    Whey is used as an additive for some foods including Noodle pottage, Barely pottage, Aubergine and whey, Aubergine porridge, and Kalehjoosh.
  • Medical recommendation
    Use packed (pasteurized) whey which has the hygienic label and license. Always keep it in refrigerator. Avoid using bulk whey as much as possible and in case of using, boil it for 10-20 minutes for reducing the microorganisms.
  • Somayeh whey
    The produced whey in Somayeh Company is made of the most qualified raw materials with control and confirmation of food industries experts. It is provided from western parts of the country and after transferring to the production unit of Somayeh Company factory, is pasteurized by the most modern machinery and equipment. In final stages of production, they are packed and confirmed by quality control laboratory and then are ready to be presented in the market. Somayeh whey includes high protein, calcium and other minerals, so it can be used by all people particularly athletes, pregnant women, and nursing mothers. Every one of any age is recommended to use whey.

 

Tomato sauce
Tomato sauce is indeed condensed tomato juice which is used because of not accessing to fresh tomato during the year. Some of its great features are:

        • vitamin A, B, C; folic Acid; ferrous, phosphor and calcium
        • preventing some cancers such as stomach cancer and prostate
        • diluting blood and decreasing cholesterol
        • helping transfer of materials through intestines, and anti constipation
